breakfast a yummy green smoothie
1/4 cup oat milk ,never had it until now
make a lovely ,thick shake
1/2 cup spring water
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
splenda
a few strawberries
blend and enjoy
soo delish

Raw Spaghetti
2 medium green zuccini, as thick (fat) and straight as possible.
i use a vegetable peeler to give it a paste look ,or you can you a spiral slicer,make a yummy lower carb dish and if you want you can lightly warm it... my new favorite lunch :)
Pasta Sauce
10-12 “sundried” tomatoes, allow to soak for several minutes in warm water to soften.1 large fresh tomato1 large red pepper1-2 stalks of celery1 clove garlic(4-5 fresh basil leaves)
Blend all of the sauce ingredients in a blender or Food Processor. Add the soaked sundried tomatoes last, a few at a time.
Pour nicely over the zucchini “pasta”. Some fresh curly parsley sprinkled over the top adds a nice touch!
I've never had oat milk before either! That sounds really great.

ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to try oat milk. I saw it at Whole Foods the other day and now I'm curious. I don't drink any milk, not even soy or rice milk, but was thinking that maybe I should add calcium-fortified rice or oat milk to my green smoothies.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of this zucchini pasta...it sounds delicious and light. I may try it this weekend, I have some zucchini from a relatives farm calling out to me :)
